DETAILS

Care Instructions
Hoya buotii requires bright, indirect light and should be kept in moderate temperatures with high humidity. Water the plant regularly to keep the soil evenly moist but not waterlogged. It can adapt to indoor conditions if provided with sufficient light and humidity.
Soil
Hoya buotii prefers well-draining loam soil. A mix of potting soil with perlite or orchid bark can provide the necessary drainage. Ensure the soil remains moist but not soggy to prevent root rot.
Fertilizer
Fertilize Hoya buotii with a balanced fertilizer, such as 2-1-2, during the growing season. Apply the fertilizer every 4-6 weeks to support healthy growth and flowering.
Repotting
Repot Hoya buotii every 2-3 years or when it outgrows its current pot. Choose a slightly larger pot with good drainage. Gently remove the plant from its old pot, shake off excess soil, and place it in the new pot with fresh soil mix.
Propagation
Hoya buotii can be propagated through stem cuttings. Take cuttings with at least two nodes and place them in water or a moist soil mix. Keep the cuttings in a warm, humid environment until roots develop, then transplant them into individual pots.
Pruning
Prune Hoya buotii to maintain its shape and encourage bushier growth. Remove any dead or yellowing leaves and trim back long stems. Pruning can be done throughout the growing season as needed.
Toxicity
Hoya buotii is not known to be toxic to pets or humans. However, it is always a good practice to keep plants out of reach of pets and children to avoid any accidental ingestion.
