DETAILS

Care Instructions
Monstera epipremnoides requires bright, indirect light and should be kept in moderate temperatures with high humidity. Water the plant regularly to keep the soil evenly moist but not waterlogged. It can be grown both indoors and outdoors, provided the conditions are suitable.
Soil
This plant prefers well-draining loamy soil that retains moisture without becoming waterlogged. A mix of potting soil with perlite or orchid bark can provide the necessary drainage and aeration.
Fertilizer
Use a balanced fertilizer with an N-P-K ratio of 20-20-20 during the growing season. Fertilize every 4-6 weeks to support healthy growth.
Repotting
Repot Monstera epipremnoides every 1-2 years or when it outgrows its current pot. Choose a pot that is one size larger and ensure it has good drainage. Gently remove the plant from its old pot, loosen the roots, and place it in the new pot with fresh soil.
Propagation
Propagate Monstera epipremnoides through stem cuttings. Take a cutting with at least one node and a few leaves, and place it in water or moist soil until roots develop. This can be done during the growing season for best results.
Pruning
Prune the plant to control its size and shape, and to remove any dead or damaged leaves. Pruning can be done throughout the year as needed.
Toxicity
Monstera epipremnoides is toxic to pets and humans if ingested. The plant contains calcium oxalate crystals which can cause irritation and swelling in the mouth and throat.
